The Importance of the Supervisor Support: Investigating the Mediating Role of Emotional Well-Being on Self-Efficacy in Doctoral Students

Despite the increasing level of research concentrating on supervisory relationship in doctoral students, there exists little research on the emotional experiences considering motivation and different types of supervisory support. This empirical study (N=636) examined the effects of self-efficacy and emotional well-being across doctoral students from 36 countries and 41 disciplines.
