Discriminating Creativity, Originality, and Artistry for Pictures By Grade School Children

Abstract

This study involved 49 fifth graders who rated themselves on trait Creativity and then rated a set of 15 pictures for Creativity, Originality, and Artistry. The results reveal no gender differences, strong positive correlations among the three ratings, and a statistically significant difference between Creativity and Originality ratings.
