Abstract

Relationships between adult attachment dimensions and individual differences on a computerized attentional orienting task were investigated. Contrary to what was hypothesized, attachment anxiety was not related to individual differences in inhibition of return. However, attachment anxiety was positively associated with volitional orienting at the shortest level of cue-target onset asynchrony.
