Abstract

'Personality' and 'social psychology' are abstract categories whose structure can best be understood empirically. I examine bibliographic couplings (shared references) among more than 3,500 papers published between 2013 and 2017. Two approaches to the community structure of this network are considered. Their significance for our understanding social/personality psychology is addressed.
