Abstract
The current study examined coping strategies as potential mediators of the association between loneliness and depressive symptoms in 364 college students from Spain. Results of a multiple mediator analysis indicated that the association between loneliness and depressive symptoms was partially mediated by engaged coping strategies and disengaged coping strategies.
