Is My Disgust Showing? Self-Other Agreement in Disgust Sensitivity

Abstract
In this study we examined self-other-agreement in pathogen, sexual, and moral disgust sensitivity among partners, friends and acquaintances (N=642). We found significant self-other-agreement in all domains of disgust sensitivity in all relationship categories, except in moral disgust sensitivity in the acquaintance category. Furthermore, self-other-agreement was independent of personality perceptions.
