Abstract
Physical neglect predicts cognitive deficits. A sample of (partly) remitted depressed patients showed severer cognitive impairment when reporting to have experienced physical neglect in their childhood. The negative impact of physical neglect on cognition holds significant across cognitive domains (i.e., attention, memory, executive functioning, and information processing).
