Abstract

We studied the relationship between human-likeness (HL) and State Anxiety (SA) in the imagined interaction with human replicas. According to a serial mediation analysis this relationships was mediated by Mechanistic Dehumanization (MD) and Quality of Imagined Interaction (QII). As HL decreased, MD increased, reducing QII, which increased SA.
