Abstract

This study examined the role of perfectionism and sexual assault victimization in predicting self-destructive behaviors (viz., self-harm & suicidal behaviors) in a sample of 225 female college students. Results from regression analyses indicated that beyond sexual assault victimization, perfectionism was an important predictor. Implications of the presented findings are discussed.
