Information Foraging: An Investigation of Sampling Patterns in a Text-Based Paradigm

This study aims to investigate how people sample information in a purely intrinsically motivated exploration of topics. Participants were given the opportunity to read as many facts as they wanted about different topics. Sampling behaviour is explored in regard to age difference and reported curiosity and interest in each fact.
