Abstract

We investigated the influence of brief (200 ms) auditory emotional context on visual emotion processing. We found emotion-specific priming effects with 0 and 100 ms stimulus-onset asynchronies. A further experiment elucidated that emotional face-voice integration is not likely to explain the results. Response competition will be discussed as possible mechanism.
