Abstract

The current study examined the putative relationship between pupil mimicry and depressed individuals’ trust deficit. The data show that deficient trust in the patient group cannot be explained by differences in pupil mimicry behavior. However, pupil dilation mimicry seems to help depressed individuals to evaluate trustworthiness.
