Abstract

This study extended previous research by testing the contact hypothesis (Pettigrew & Tropp, 2006) with imagined contact intervention (Miles & Crisp, 2014), on long-term, to reduce stigma about schizophrenia. In line with the contact hypothesis, results showed that imagined contact reduce explicit prejudices towards schizophrenia during two to three weeks.
