The Dimensions of Human Morality – a Data-Driven Approach

Abstract
According to Moral Foundation Theory (MFT), human morality consists of five dimensions. We test this theory and evaluate a data-driven approach allowing estimations of spontaneously employed dimensions of moral events. Our experiment (N = 411) suggests that people do not organize moral events in accordance with MFT.
