Abstract

We investigated the involvement of attentional resources on memory for emotional faces. Participants performed a face recognition task with a backward counting by 3 (BC3) and tone counting (TC) secondary tasks. The BC3 impaired performance regardless the emotion, TC had also a general impact, except on faces with positive content.
