Effect of Spatial Distance between Action and Outcome on Time Perception

Abstract

The present study examined whether spatial distance between action and its consequence influences interval estimation and perceived timing. The results revealed that the estimated interval became longer as the distance increased, while the perceived timing was not influenced by the distance manipulation.
