Abstract

An issue with measures of addictive behaviours is that self-reported behaviours and symptoms are often unreliable due to issues such as forgetting and deception. The present study examines the relationship between implicit memory associations and two behavioural addictions: problem gambling and gaming. Going beyond the need for conscious introspection.
