Development of Multidigit Processing in Childhood: Conflict Resolution and Inhibition

Abstract

We evaluated the relationship between multidigit processing, conflict resolution and inhibitory function in children aged 7 to 11 years. The results obtained in a numerical comparison task show compositional processing of magnitude and a developmental course of conflict resolution by inhibition.
