Abstract

This study examines the bidirectional associations between trajectories of participation in organized physical activity (OPA) (age 6 to 10) and behavioral problems (age 4 and 12). Consistent participation in OPA during childhood was associated with lower inattention symptoms at ages 4 and 12, and lower aggressive behaviors at age 12.
