Abstract

In two experiments, we presented undergraduate students at an American university with information that intelligence testing is biased or that intelligence testing is legitimate. Results provide evidence for differential processing of the article based on student’s ethnicity. Implications for understanding how group status moderates perceptions of testing situations are discussed.
