Abstract

This systematic review of emotion dynamics in childhood and adolescence covers the parameters emotional intensity, variability, instability, inertia, granularity, and cross-lag effects. Our study examined differences in emotion dynamic patterns between (a) affect dimensions, (b) distinct emotion states (e.g., Anxiety/Happiness), and (c) different populations and age periods.
