The Association between Numerical Stroop Effect and Arithmetic Ability: A Longitudinal Study

Over three years, 183 students were assessed on numerical Stroop task and numerical operation task at three time points. Results show that the initial of performance of numerical Stroop task and arithmetic ability as well as the growth rate of these abilities are interrelated and influence each other reciprocally.
