Abstract

In this study the development of textual comprehension is analyzed. Infants aged five to ten years old read four children's texts. It is analyzed how argumentation and narration allow to give meaning to stories. From a cognitive development perspective, the growing complexity of linguistic resources in infants is evidenced.
