Daily Driving Experiences Modify Gaze Patterns during Visual Searches of Driving Scenes

Abstract
Gaze patterns of experts, who are extensively trained for years, are modified to accomplish efficient visual search in a domain specific way. We found that daily driving experiences devoid of extensive training partially modified gaze patterns and shortened the time spent on searching for hazards in driving scenes.
