Abstract

The present investigation examined how social class shapes individuals’ perceptions and judgements of wealth inequality. Based on various kinds of data (i.e., survey data, cross-country data, and experimental data), we tested the hypothesis that higher class individuals will perceive and judge the wealth distribution to be less unequal.
