Abstract

This paper shows how the source of a climate change message [Scientist, commerce or environmentalist] influences judgments of the accuracy, importance and motivation behind the message. The research shows the effects of participants’ political orientation and that people who accept climate change attribute their beliefs to different causes than skeptics.
