Abstract

The Impostor Phenomenon (IP) is a negative self-perception of inadequacy often accompanied by fear of being exposed as a fraud. This study assesses the prevalence of IP among a sample of undergraduate students and examines the association between IP experiences, mindset beliefs, and negative affect.
