A Statistical Approach to Quantifying Physiological Synchrony

Abstract
We present an approach to quantify physiological synchrony between two individuals. It takes into account the dynamics of interactions, where the degree of synchronization changes throughout an interaction and where people react at different delays to events and to each other. We illustrate the method with a recently conducted study.
