Abstract

BPD features are generally related to negative romantic relationship outcomes, but little is known about the role of romantic competence. We found that women with greater number of BPD features have lower knowledge of romantic competence, but an even greater self-reported decreased likelihood of engaging in effective relationship behaviors.
