Abstract

Perceptual bias is impacted by urbanicity in Namibia, Africa. We replicate this effect in a French population, and show that perceptual bias is also predicted by gender, religiosity, and propensity to travel, but not by collectivism and education. This study confirms the strong plasticity of perceptual processes to experience-related factors.
