Stress Mindset Attenuates the Stress Response in Interpersonal Conflicts: Evaluating within-Person and between-Person Effects

Abstract
The present study investigated the effect of stress mindset on people’s responses to interpersonal conflicts. Results from a survey revealed that people with a stress-is-enhancing mindset found it less stressful to face recurring conflicts with others, both at the within-person and between-person levels.
