Abstract

Prazosin, an alpha1-adrenoreceptor antagonist, is effective in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Little is known regarding the mechanism of prazosin’s efficacy. In the current studies, zebrafish were exposed to unpredictable chronic stress, which elicited alterations in stress regulation. The effects of prazosin exposure on these alterations will also be explored.
