Predictors of Depression in Cisgender Sexual Minorities in a Southern Community in the United States

Abstract
This study investigates predictors of depression among sexual minorities in a region of the Southeastern United States. Having a sense of community is shown to be a protective factor for discrimination, however when incorporating distal and proximal stressors it is no longer a significant protective factor.
