Draw a Man or Draw Your Dad: The Relative Quality of Prototype and Unique-Exemplar Drawing in Children.

Abstract
We asked children to draw a man or their dad and showed that the quality of the dad drawing was better when it was produced before than after the man. We concluded that drawing a man convokes rigid and non-creative mental representations that block richer representations of the human figure.
