Abstract

Childhood exposure to parent-child aggression (PCA) was hypothesized to strengthen the link between hourly feelings of annoyance at one’s romantic partner and the use of anger words captured at home via audio recordings among young adult dating couples. PCA strengthened the link among women but weakened the link among men.
