Reddit: A Diverse and Reliable Participant Pool for Psychological Research

Abstract
We evaluated the viability of recruiting voluntary participants from the Reddit community SampleSize for psychological research. Data quality and reliability was acceptable, comparable to Amazon Mechanical Turk and community samples. SampleSize participants were also demographically diverse. Overall, our findings indicate that SampleSize is a viable and financially accessible participant pool.
