Abstract

The Health Literacy Skills framework (Squiers et al., 2012) was validated in explaining health beliefs on seasonal influenza infection and health-related behavior for Japanese adults. Health literacy skills were associated with demographic variables, which affected health behavior directly and indirectly through health beliefs.
