Abstract

Adolescent depression is on the rise in the U.S. This work examined how parents’ ethnic socialization messages and adolescents’ ethnic-racial identity beliefs may both mitigate such depression among diverse youth. Implications for positive psychosocial development across racial groups are discussed.
