Abstract
To elucidate impacts of long-term training on auditory timing perception during movements, we performed auditory timing discrimination tests in pianists and non-musicians. Pianists showed better discrimination than non-musicians. The superior perception was more remarkable during active listening than passive one, which indicates that active sensory prediction improves sensory perception.
