The Latent Structure of Interpersonal Violence and Its Invariance across Gender

This study examined the latent structure of interpersonal violence and its invariance across gender. Using exploratory and multiple group confirmatory factor analysis, the structure, as well as configural, metric, and scalar invariance was assessed among 633 male and 654 female undergraduate students. Results suggest latent factors may differ by gender.
