Abstract

We studied whether a pedagogical program aiming at enhancing kindergarten children’s executive functions (EFs) with a metacognitive approach would have an impact not only on EFs (near transfer) but also on academic learnings (far transfer). We used a pre/post experimental design. The results only showed a near transfer on inhibition.
