Linking Psychological Capital to Psychological and Physical Well-Being Among Hong Kong Social Workers: The Mediating Role of Problem-Solving Strategies

Adopting the social problem-solving theory, this study aims to examine the underlying mechanisms of psychological capital (PsyCap). A two-wave longitudinal study is conducted on 400 social workers in Hong Kong. Current results showed an indirect effect of PsyCap on psychological distress and physical symptoms of job stress through problem-solving strategies.
