Abstract
Binge drinking is of great concern killing more than 80,000 people and costing $191 billion in the US alone. We applied a costly signal perspective to prevention programs. Exposure to sexual dysfunctions signals led female participants to downgrade a target’s attractiveness. These findings should contribute to future prevention programs.
