Abstract
The scientific community is striving to become more demographically diverse and increasingly conducting research in teams. We found that team climate mediates the effect of diversity on science teams. More diverse teams had more positive outcomes. However, the individuals from underrepresented groups that contributed said diversity reported more negative outcomes.
