Examining the Relationship of Time Perspective Orientation to Suicide Ideation and Suicide Attempts

Time perspective orientation (TPO) has been suggested to distinguish suicide ideators and attempters from non-suicidal individuals. The present study examines differences in TPOs between suicide attempters, suicide ideators, and nonsuicidal participants; finding large and significant differences in TPOs between ideators and nonsuicidal participants and small differences between ideators and attempters.
