Abstract

The current study documents the criterion validity of pathological personality traits (PPTs), describes their patterns of stability and change over time, especially in relationship with baseline psychopathology and change in psychological distress. Data provide support for the criterion validity, and clinical utility of the PPTs in detecting short-term change.
