Abstract
Working from the link between perceived norms and behaviour, the current paper focuses on ways of shaping norms. The core novel contributions to this literature are a) unpacking the mechanisms that underlie small-group-interaction based interventions and, b) clarifying conceptual understanding of norm change processes, via the consideration of lay perceptions.
