Commitment to the Relationship a Resource That Mediates the Relationship between Internalized Homophobia and Same-Sex Relationship Satisfaction.

This study assessed commitment to the relationship as a mediator in the relationship between internalized homophobia and same-sex relationship satisfaction. We found an indirect effect from internalized homophobia to relationship satisfaction through commitment to the relationship. The mediational model is only met in the emergent-adult group compared to adult group.
