The Situational Experience of Individuals with Pathological Personality Tendencies

Abstract
The daily situational experience of individuals with pathological trait tendencies was explored. Differential relations between pathological traits and situations were found. These relations were primarily driven by the individual’s subjective construal of the situations, rather than self-selection (into situations). Some person × situation interactions on emotional outcomes were also found.
