Abstract

The present study investigated the affective priming effect on long-term memory. Results demonstrated that memories encoded with the prior subliminal exposures of emotional stimuli were remembered more accurately than those with neutral stimuli. The finding suggests that the recollection of long-term memories could be enhanced by a subliminal emotional context.
